A new graphical layout has been designed and launched for Earthnet Online, with the aims of making the website more consistent with the ESA web portal look & feel, revamping its graphical identity and making it both more usable and more accessible for users.
The 4th International Workshop on Science and Applications of SAR Polarimetry and Polarimetric Interferometry - POLinSAR 2009 - will be hosted in ESRIN, Italy and is open to ESA Principal Investigators, scientists and students working in the field of SAR Polarimetry and Polarimetric Interferometry (Pol-InSAR), and to representatives from National, European and International space agencies. The deadline for abstract submission is 30 September 2008.
The International Charter on Space and Major Disasters uses satellite data from member agencies to help mitigate the effects of major catastrophes on human life and property. Today the Charter, which was created in the year 2000 by the European Space Agency along with the French and Canadian Space Agencies, has ten members and several external cooperating entities.
This DVD passes in review some of the most spectacular examples of application of the Charter all over the world. The duration of the PAL video is approximately 10'. The DVD contains the English, French and German versions.
